Bokeh Technique With Watercolor Shapes. Bokeh With Watercolor Shapes. The easiest way to make the Bokeh technique that I discovered is with the stamp set Watercolor Shapes. It is a technique that has been around for quite a long time but trusts me, you want to try it again with the watercolor Shapes. Not only that, I am sharing the Bokeh technique today but also a fun fold, “the Easel Card.”

The Bokeh technique is excellent for all types of occasions. Birthday, Celebration, Anniversary, Christmas, to name a few.

Bokeh Technique How-to Video

In this video, I share how to make the Bokeh technique with the Watercolor Shapes stamp set and the Easel fold. For the Bokeh, I have the simple technique and one with what I call the filter. All is shared step by step in the video. Are you ready to learn this technique and fun fold? If so, click below to play the video.

Bokeh in Subtles colors

Bokeh Technique With Watercolor Shapes.

I try the Bokeh in three different color combinations. The one above uses color from the subtle Collection. The circle dots are Blushing Bride, Soft Sea Foam, so saffron, and Balmy Blue. The greeting is stamped using Highland Heather, another color in the Subtles collection.

The card on the left is with the filter. What I call the filter is applying a light coat of White Craft ink. I share the how-to in the video.

Did you know if you purchase a full-color collection of ink pads, you receive a 10% discount on the entire Collection? That is correct; see page 126 of the annual catalog to get the ordering number for all collections, or see below; I listed the three collections that I used for today’s cards. The card stock White and Highland Heathe.

Bokeh in Regals colors

Bokeh With Watercolor Shapes.

Anyone that knows me a little knows how much I love fall, and this regals collection is calling my name. I love this combo for fall colors. This one, to tone it down a little, I did the filter on top of the circle.

The circle’s color is listed below, and the greeting and vines are  Blackberry Bliss, another color in the regales collection. Inside the vines, I color with Stampin’ blends.

To see how I die cut the frame and layer, see the video all in the video. Card stock card base very vanilla, layer Early Espresso and frame Cajun Craze.

The colors of the circle that I stamped are listed above and all from the Bright Collection. Card base Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green layer.
