Today share it is a fun fold, the Triple Panel Card with Belly Band. This style card is a fun fold that is perfect to showcase both sides of designer paper. If you need a birthday, anniversary, thank you card, this style would be great for all occasions.
The triple panel card is friendly to showcase on a desk, table, and it stays stand up when all panels are open. To keep the card close, the belly band will do the job, plus it holds the beautiful flowers on the front of the card.
So many have difficulty using their designer paper because they don’t want to cover one side of the prints. Well, with this style card, you don’t have to pick one side or the other. Both sides of the pattern prints of the designer paper will be visible on these types of cards.
The choice of the paper today is the Hand-Penned designer paper, a lovely floral in soft color. You can substitute the paper with any of your favorite pattern papers. Just make sure to cut in the right direction. All is explained in the video.
How-to video to make the Triple Panel Card With A Belly Band
Let me show you step-by-step on how to make the triple panel card and the belly band. Trust me, after you see how simple this is to make and how you don’t have to choose one side or the other of your beautiful designer paper, you will start using that stash of designer paper that has been collecting dust.
Also, all measurements are below.
Triple Panel card with Hand-Penned Designer paper
I am sharing both of the cards today using the Hand-Penned designer paper and the Hand-Penned Petals bundle.
As you can see in the picture, the designer paper has showcased both sides of the paper. That is the sweet thing about this fold, so you don’t have to make that hard decision of what side to use to create your card.
The lovely flower above is stamped on basic white and die-cut with the matching die. Color ink is Blushing Bride, Highland Heather, and Mint Macaron.
Misty Moonlight is the color cardstock for the back layer and belly band.
Also, the flower is from the Hand-Penned Petals, but I color with stamping blends instead of stamping the filler. The filler stamp is part of the stamp set, but I wanted to showcase 2 different ways to add color to these beautiful flowers.
Color cardstock for the back layer and the band for this one is Basic Bray. Basic Gray with Pale Papaya is very eye-catching.
The bird view shows how lovely it stand and perfect to display on a table, desk, and such.
Measurement
- Back layer 5½ x 4¼
- Belly Band 11 x 1¼
- Hand-Penned Designer Paper 12 x 5¼ score at 2″, 5″, 8″
