If you like interactive cards, this fun fold slider closure card should get your interest. These slider closure cards would be great for all occasions cards.
The designer paper of choice for today’s card is the Hand-Penned. You could use other designer paper; the sky is the limit.
It is simple to do the slider for these cards with the Stitched So Sweetly die for the slider. I have all the detail in the video with some extra tips.

Hand-Penned Slider Closure Card
Both cards are using Hand-Penned designer paper. Each card is using one double-sided designer.
For the flowers, I use the Bloom die with the embossing folder. It is not the coordinate die of the Hand-Penned designer paper, although it matches pretty well with this paper. The reason why I didn’t use the Penned Flower was the size of the flower. The flower in the Penned Flower die was a bit too big and covered the greeting on the scalloped rectangle. I had the stamping done before I tested the size of the flower.
The flower on this card I sponged with Blushing Bride. The greeting is stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.
This one is using Pale Papaya.
Measurement and scored lines for the Slider Closure Card.
- Basic White thick 11 x 4¼ score at 2, 7¼, 2 of scalloped Stitched Rectangle 2 x 3-1/8
- Hand-Penned Designer Paper 4 x 1¾, 4 x 3½
I strongly recommend the Thick Basic White for this due to the interactive. If you use color card stock, that is perfect; it is thick. White and Very Vanilla, you have the choice of the regular and thick so that I would use the thick cardstock for his interactive fold card.
