Simple Chalkboard Frame In A Minute

Hello Stampers,
Today I am sharing the most simple way to make a Chalkboard Frame in a minute. No special took needed to make a perfect 45° angle for the framing. I was so excited when I discover this trick to make the frame that I when live on YouTube. that was back in September. Today frame it’s a Christmas frame but notes that you can make frames for all occasions frame some flowers.

Quick tip for a minute frame

This is so simple. You will need 4 strips of paper. For a full-size card, I used 2 strips of ¾ x 4¼ and 2 of ¾ x 5½. Overlap each corner and cut diagonal. Boom ready to frame your card. This is amazing. Just make sure to keep the order of each peace so all aligned perfectly. Look at these corner perfect fit and took a minute. No need for special tools either so flipping fun making frames.

Measurements

Basic Black 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base
In Good Taste Designer paper Use one of the wood prints. 2 of ¾ x 5½ and 2 of ¾ x 4¼

Chalkboard Tips

To get the look of the chalkboard it is simple. Using a sponge and white craft ink smear ink on to the basic black card stock. Just enough to show the use of a chalkboard. Note that when the ink dry it will be lighter.

You can use the white Stampin’ Chalk Marker to write on the back or you can stamp with the white craft ink. The Christmas frame I stamped and the school frame I write on them.

School Frame

Don’t think just about back to school for these frames they would be great for teacher appreciation, thank you card for the staff at school, great for scrapbook, and much more.

In the picture above you can see the smear of white ink on the card. It truly looks like a blackboard at school.
