Extra info about the weight of Cardstock-Paper
It is many ways that the weight of paper is reported. Here what I found.
- In the United States measures paper weight in pounds (lb), other places it is standard to measure in grams (gsm)
- The way it is calculated is tricky some are: bond, Test/Book, Cover, Bristoal, Index, Tag and Metric.

Hi,
I’m only asking this question because most Designer paper is so thin. Why is it at 100-110 lb? Cardstock is much thicker and only 80 lb. Just curious.
Thanks for sharing this info.
