Life is Beautiful fall card, baby wipe and spotlight technique

Hello Stampers,
Today it is two for one. With the Life is Beautiful fall card I am sharing two techniques. The technique is the baby wipe and spotlight technique. Oldies but perfect for this stamp set. I did lots of them for customer Thank YOU so maybe you did receive one in the mail from me.

Spotlight Technique

This technique is perfect is you want to get a focal point on a card.

Stamp your card layer
Punch or die-cut what you want to have to focus on.
Die-cut or punch out a size bigger of the layer color cardstock.
Assemble all layers.

If you choose to do many cards make sure you keep the punch out or die-cut shape with the card layer you punch out or die cut from. You may ask why? This will be that the image flow together. If you mix them it is a good chance that the image will not flow together.

Baby Wipe Technique

Fall card are the perfect card for this technique. It could use on other season but fall is great to get the multi-color of fall.

Fold a baby wipe in 4 or use a few wipes and place on plastic lid or plate. I love to have a little cushion.
Add drops of ink. For today’s card, I used Terracota Tile, Bumblebee, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie.
Now you are ready to stamp. The baby wipe with the ink is now your ink pad.

You can do lots of cards before adding more ink. Just note that the colors will vary due to stamping over and over. I DO NOT wash my stamp in between each card. I keep stamping and that is a reason my colors vary because I keep stamping with a stamp that still has ink on them but it is a fall card variation is okay.

Measurements

Whisper White 11 x 4¼ score at 5½ card base, 3¾ x 5 top layer also you will punch out the 1½” circle for the spotlight after the stamping is done.
Cinnamon Cider 4 x 5¼, die-cut or punch out the 1¾” circle from this middle layer.
