Hello Friends
Today card with the Stethoscope and Smock is the perfect card in demand for these days. I bet many of use will have a list of people that we want to send this kind of card to.
First I want to give a big shoot out to Tammy for the inspiration. The minute she shared this card on our team Facebook page, I push everything off my desk and started making some. I have a list of people that I want to send these to.
You can view the step by step how-to video below in this post or on my YouTube Channel.
To whom or where should I send these cards to?
This card is perfect for all in the medical field. Here my list and I am sure we can keep adding to this list.
- Doctors
- Nurses
- First Responder
- Veterinary
- Technician
With the C-19 I am sure our list is very long to send a thank you cards to. All the one at the front line of what I call the “silent war”.
So my best advice is to make a stash of them and send to your local hospital, doctor’s office, EMS and so on. It would be lovely to send a card to say THANK YOU for all they do for our community. Let show our appreciation.
The first one that when in the mail was to my sister. She is a trauma nurse in London, Ontario. I am sure this will cheer her up a little.
Bless all of them in the medical field.
Measurements
- Whisper White Thick 11 x 4¼ score at 5½ card base
- Seaside Spray
Smock.5½ x 4¼ *make a mark at 3/4 at each end at the top. In the center 2-1/8 make a mark at 1¼ cut diagonal.
Neck Collar. 5½ x ¾ die-cut twice with the large stitched rectangle die. The finish is a strip of about 3/8 x 5½ stitch on both sides. cut this piece in half.
Pocket. Using a scrap of seaside spray die-cut twice with the stitched rectangle to get a piece that measures about 3/8 x ¾. My best advice is to watch the video, it is simple just difficult for me to explain in words. All is shown in the video.
Die-cut the 1″ heart - Silver Foil 2″ heart, 1″ and ½” circle
- Basic Black ¾” circle and scrap for the cable also shown in the video
Stamp set
The Ornate Thanks is the stamp that I used on these cards. I stamp the Thank You with Seaside Spray and then overlay the “for all you do” using memento black in.

Lovely and sooooo…… thoughtful
What a great idea. I hope to make some this week.
Salut France, I made your card for a couple of nurse friends and wanted to let you know I used the handle of the All Dressed Up Dies to make the collar of the scrub. I don’t know if it is exactly the size you made but it does look good on the cards. Thanks for keeping us busy at this time. Keep safe.
i love it
Super!!! Thanks for sharing. Going to make a few.
Great card, plus your step-by-step tutorial was very helpful. Thank you very much for sharing! I adapted it to make a congrats graduation from nursing school card for my niece. Thanks again! 👍 😊
