Today is all about the Ombre on the Ornate Garden Foil Paper. This technique is a quick way to add color to the foil side for the designer paper.

Measurements
- Melon Mambo 11 x 4¼ score at 5½ card base, 2″ circle.
- Basic Black 5¼ x 4. Starburst punch.
- Ornate Garden Designer paper 5 x 3¾
- Whisper White 1¾” circle, 5¼ x 4 inside
Foam Brayer tips
If you use the rubber brayer before it will be a little learning curve with the foam one. Trust me after you watch the video you will see how simple it is to use the foam one and easier to get the color smooth.
First I was no way this is not working because I was used to brayer with the rubber one that leaves the color deep on the first roll but it was so easy to have a big line and streak that you didn’t want. The foam brayer is soft so you will have to apply a few coats of ink. Trust me you will find the foam brayer to leave soft smooth colors.
The brayer comes in a pack of 2 handles and 4 foam. You can wash the foam just like you wash your sponge. For the price, I suggest getting 2 packs so you would have 4 handles for this ombre card that used 3 colors. You would have to change the foam part in between colors. I show in the video how to change the foam from the handle.
Inside the card
On the inside, I stamped the daisy in each color at the bottom right. The colors are the Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade, and Daffodil Delight. The big THANKS is stamped with Daffodil Delight and the “for all you do” with Poppy Parade.
Color Combo
Are you shocked that I use 3 colors in the Bright collection? Sometimes I love to shock you. To be honest I think these 3 colors for the ombre are the perfect combination. What do you think of this combo?

Oops. 4/17. Ombré method post this morning has an error. Card base should be scored at 5 1/2 not 4 1/4. Right?
