Today I am sharing cards with the limited edition, Sending Flowers die. I will share the simple one and also the shaker card. This is is amazing, we never had a die in this open shape with attach flowers in the center. I had so much fun creating all of these cards.

Measurement
All card are the same measurement just different colors.
- Whisper White thick card base 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼
- Top Layer Black or Pretty Peacock 5½ x 4¼ *this is the piece you die cut the circle with the flowers.
- Banner for the greeting 3½ x ¾ Pool Party or Daffodil Delight
- Window sheet for shaker card 4 x 4¾
Tip for the shaker card
In the video you will see the shaker card from start to finish. Here a few tips.
- Personally I find it easier to add the foam strip onto the card base then onto the layer.
- When you adhere the foam strip make sure you stay outside of your circle. You can lay your layer on top of your card base and a mark with a pencil so you know where to adhere the foam strip.
- Placing the sequins in the center of the “box” your created with the foam strip. Then adhere the window sheet.
- Using liquid glue is the best to adhere the card stock onto the window sheet.
Sponging the background
Many tell me sponging is a hard technique. Oh! when you see this video you will be at ease to sponge this background. Trust me with this background. You will think it look terrible and when I place the die cut one top you will say WOW! that is cool. The sponging look like a big mess but it is amazing when it all finish.
The colors that I used for the sponging are: Old Olive for the bottom, top with So Saffron and center Calypso Coral. I sponge over again with the the So Saffron to softer background.
What to know about the Sending Flowers Dies
After doing a few cards with the Sending Flower die, I learn quick that the big silhouette circle die it’s much easier to pull from the bottom out of the die. When you pull from the top it tend to leave more little pieces inside the silhouette. When pulling from the bottom it is so much easier and MOST time it pull all the little piece out.
This die coordinate with the Sending Your Thoughts but I have to say it’s a die that can be use by itself and many other stamp sets. Also this is ONLY AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST or March 31st whichever come first.
Without sponging
For this one it is NO sponging. I use pool party for the card base and top with Pretty Peacock. This is the one that is super quick and easy. Die cut assemble and Voila! it is done.
