Hello Friends,
Today I am share a simple Easel Card. These easel cards would be great for a decor on a book shell, desk and so on. I think this is one of the most beautiful card that I done in a long time.
Verna Lapp inspired me with the Heirloom Frame and Magnolia designer paper. Thank YOU Verna.
I have the how to video at the bottom of this post or you can view on my YouTube Channel.
Measurements
- Night Of Navy 11 x 4¼ score at 2½ and 5½
- Basic Black 5¼ x 4 emboss with the Country Floral 3D folder, 4 x 1½
- Champagne Foil 4 x 5¼ for the frame
- Magnolia Lane Designer paper 2½ Oval and hand cut one flower
- Whisper White 5¼ x 4, 3¾ x 1¼
How to color the magnolia paper
We have a bulk option now for the Magnolia Lane paper. I love the 4 prints in this paper. The beauty of these flower is you can color them in any color of your choice using the Stampin’ Blends. You can also use markers but to be honest the blends are great to keep the definition of the flowers.
The card above I used the Night Of Navy and below Highland Heather. See how it look like a different paper but all the same print. What color will you color yours?
Easel with Calendar
This is the same design and measurement for the easel card base. I just added the little calendar at the bottom. You can qualified to receive 2 mini calendar with the color swatch. See post of yesterday here.
Color for the flower and card stock I switch the Night of Navy with the Highland Heather. The foil I switch the Champagne with the gold.
These color and card front was inspired to me by a card Vern Lapp send me . I love everything about this card. Also I did this one on a Facebook live. CLICK HERE to view on Facebook.

Frenchie,I love the card!!! I have the Heirloom frames and dies, die cutting and embossing the rectangular frame isn’t a problem. When embossing the oval frame ,I’ve tried everything.I’ve die cut first and then embossed putting the small oval in the folder to center the oval better .It still comes out off centered.I even embossed and then die cut and that didn’t work either.Could you please give me some tips ?
