How about a quick and simple Boken Christmas Card for today.
Many of us we plan year after year to make our Christmas cards and BOOM we realize we don’t have time. Well today cards are super quick and simple. You could make many dozen in a evening. Plus very little supplies needed.
Measurements
All cards are the same measurement, just different layout.
- Whisper White 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼, 4¾ x 3½, scrap for the punch out trees
- Mossy Meadow 5 x 3¾
Color Choice
I only used 3 color ink pad and you could do with 2 if you choose not to stamp the pine cone. Mossy Meadow, Balmy Blue for the all cards exception of the one with the pine cone I added the Crumb Cake.
The little speckle in the back ground that is the Wink of Stella that I flicker.
Simple Step By Step
- Onto the 4¾ x 3½ whisper white stamp the Bokeh and greeting using Balmy Blue ink.
- Stamp the trees using Mossy Meadow ink.
- Using Mossy Meadow on scrap whisper white stamp one tree or more your choice.
- Punch out and adhere on the card front using dimensionals.
- Optional flicker some Wink of Stella.
- Assemble all layers.
- Inside I stamp one of the greeting using Balmy Blue.
*Top card I added the little tassel from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley on page 39 of the Holiday catalog. Also the little elements from the annual catalog on page 178.
The card just above I added the metallic pearls. All these little embellishment are optional.
In very little time you can have a few dozen made. I bet it will take you longer to address them, then make them.
No matter how elegant and how many layer we have on a hand made card, I say when we take the time to make them we are sending extra love 🙂
