How to die cut the skates
The picture about show you have I place the dies to cut 2 skates out of a piece of 3½ x 5 piece of cardstock. Sometime flipping a die can save paper or should I say save a tree 🙂
Very little stamping on this card. Only the greeting is stamped. The designer paper and the sparkle skates make the card and no need to add more stamping. It is a matching stamp set to go with this dies. If you choose to do the skates in color cardstock or white, stamping the skate would be great.
For my card I use the Shimmer cardstock in the front and sparkle in the back so I didn’t see the need of stamping.
Tip to lace the skates
Oh! to be honest here I spit and spit on the end of the baker twine to get that in the little hold till the light bulb turn on up there 🙂 You know what I am saying I bet. So the rescue of a big needle with a large eye and VOILA! a minute or so and the skate was all lace up.
So in short get yourself a needle with a big eye (the eye of the needle is the opening of where you thread the needle) In little time you will have these lovely skates all laced up. Plus the needle can be use for many other project in your card making. I use mine quite often but I didn’t think about it first.
PS I cut off the piece of the baker twine that I spit over and over so NO worries my germs are not getting in the mail.
Hope this is a good laugh for you today!
