Cup of Christmas Reversible stamp. How to use the puff paint for whipped cream.

Hello Stampers,
Did you notice the Cup Of Christmas on page 34 of the Holiday catalog. Two of the stamps are reversible.
Well today video I share many tips for this stamp set and how to use the puff pain for the marshmallow or whipped cream.

You can view the video below in this post or like always on my YouTube channel

Not sure if you can see in the picture but all cups are emboss with clear embossing powder to give the shinny look for a ceramic look.

How to emboss in colors with clear powder

In the video I share 2 ways you can emboss with any color ink.
One is emboss direct on stamped image with regular ink and the other one is stamp first in versamark then into the color ink.
I personally prefect using the versamark with the color ink. Main reason is the versamark is pigment so it will absorb the powder more then if you just use the ink.
Note the if you only use the regular ink you need to be quick to put the powder on the stamp image. The image need to be damp to absorb the power.
Voila! you can emboss in any color with regular ink.

Whipped Cream or Marshmallow

The top card with the pretty peacock cups, the puff paint look like marshmallow topper. I just apply some of the puff paint on the edge and emboss. If your first layer of puff pain is not enough you can always add more and re emboss it. This was the one I did in the video. After the video I did the bottom one and my best suggestion is to puff the paint first then adhere the cup. We learn as we go. Just place the cup where you wish to adhere them to guide you then removed them and apply the puff paint and emboss. After it is heat emboss adhere the cups.

The Cherry Cobbler cups, I apply some puff paint in a cone shape and emboss. Again you can add more then one layer of puff paint. Just make sure you heat set the puff paint till it is dry. If you have a heavy layer it is difficult to heat set it so light layer is better so all will set.
I sure love this one that look like whipped cream.
