Today share it is all about the Tile Christmas stamp set. I have a great tip video to share how to align the branch and the cardinal. The image in the set are well done with great details. I love all the detail on this beautiful cardinal. Many time we think of cardinal for Christmas but I think it is safe to say we surely can use the cardinal for many other occasion.
I know for a fact that cardinal don’t just show up at my house on Christmas time. See picture at the bottom of cardinal in my yard.

3 quick card using the cardinal
The 3 cards that I share today are super quick. They are what I call stamp on the go. Stamp, assemble and ready to mail. First one is simply stamp, 2nd I color a little of the branch and leaves and last one I stamp a second time to get the black on the face sill very simple.
All is show in the video and also how to add that extra color to the face.
Measurements
- Crumb Cake 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base, 5 x 3¾
- Cherry Cobbler 5¼ x 4
This one the measurement is a little different for the top layer. The top layer of crumb cake is 5-1/8 x 3-7/8. Sometime I love to have a small frame so in that case I use the 1/8 in the frame.
Not only that I added the black to the face on this card, I also added Wink of Steal on the eyes. That little extra touch add so much to this bird.

Cardinal at my place in Texas
The first picture was taken for my window in my craft room and the other 2 from the back yard. We have so many cardinal here that is not a day that goes by without seeing one or many of them.
They are beautiful birds. All these above pictures are male cardinals. The female don’t have the deep red like the males, they are more gray/brown.
The picture below is a young female. Not only at the house they are all over but they come camping with us. The picture below was on a camping trip.
They say when we see a cardinal someone from heaven pay you a visit. Well if that saying is true, I say the sweet angels in heaven choose our yard to come for their gathering. I sure love it.
