Meet Marry Ellen
Mary Ellen is the inspiration behind the stamp set To A Wild Rose. Such a great set for many occasion.
Here a picture that was taking the first week of June when I attended Mary Ellen and Joe wedding in Ohio. This was the day before the wedding when all the prepping of the food and setting up for the wedding took place.
From left to right: Mary Ellen, me Frenchie, Mary Polcin, Tami White and Linda Bawin. Just a little side note about this picture. It is a 7 plus million dollar plus picture. All together we sold more then 7 million in Stampin’Up! products. What a accomplishment we did all together.
It sure was a amazing 2 days and such a beautiful wedding. It was such a honor to attend this wedding and to be part of all the activity. Thank YOU so much Mary Ellen, Joe and the Byler family.
I truly learn a lots in 2 short days with the Amish family. I am so thankful that I join Stampin’Up! 17 years ago for the friendship that I build cause of paper, ink and stamp. I truly enjoy the friendship that I build in my journey of stamping and that I keep building bigger and bigger.
The wedding festivity started at 7 am and ended close to midnight. Plus the day before the wedding was a full day of prepping, decorating and cooking. I am sure it was many months and hours for all the prep behind the scene also. They work so hard and so well together. It was amazing to see how they do thing and feed over 350 people all at once plus it was ALL hot homemade food. They serve lunch and dinner to all guests (over 350) and the food was outstanding.
Wedding Favor
Here a great picture of the wedding favor. OH! so many, well more then 400 what a pretty site it was on all the tables.
Inside of them was M& M or mints. the decoration was so beautiful. I should say also everything was set to a T.
Anyone with OCD with a been amaze of this set up. PS Don’t point out the spoon that is off set that didn’t stay long like that it was back straight 🙂

Beautiful! Love the colors too.
How lucky you were to attend her wedding. I read a lot of Amish books and know that they celebrate all day. I cannot imagine putting on a wedding feast such as they do.
Those favors were lovely. Just wondering if the instructions might become available??
I didn’t make them but here the measurement
11 x 2 score at 2¾, 3¼, 7½, 8
Just place your little bag of sweets or mints wrap around ad adhere the over lap then in the center wrap a piece of ribbon then top with flower that simple but not simple wen you make 100’s
Wow , what time that had to have taken. You are wonderful friend to those folks.
I read a lot of Amish books too, actually reading one now. Their life style fascinates me. I’ve been stamping for twenty years and a hobby demo for 9 of them. I read several blogs including yours, Tami’s and Linda’s. I’ve seen Mary Ellen’s picture in the Stampin’ Up circle. I’m curious about a couple of things. I thought Amish did not allow their picture to be taken and I’ve wondered how she manages a SU business without electronics, phones etc. I do know there’s differences in each community and that the Bishop decides what is allowed. It was wonderful that some of her Stampin’ Up ‘sisters’ could be there.
SUCH A COMMITTMENT. BEAUTY N LOVE IN BLOOM . ALL WITH LOVE N DEVOTION TOTHE HAPPY COUPLE.
