Here it is my coneflowers with the Daisy Lane stamp set and the punch. Last week I share the daisy of the brick wall and promise the coneflower. Can you see that not only I did it with the punch out but also I did it with the stamp. We can turn the daisy into the coneflower with both the stamp and the punch. It is so much fun to have a variation of flowers with one stamp set and punches.
I love these flowers and have lots in my year, picture at the bottom.
The how to video can be view below in the post and also on my You Tube Channel.
- Basic Black 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base
- Gray Granite 5¼ x 4 emboss with the 3-D Brick and Mortar embossing folder
- scrap of Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick for the flowers. One punch out will make make one coneflowers.
- Early Espresso 2 of ¾ circle and one of ½
- Whisper White 5¼ x 4
For the size of the cone flower I share in the video how you can change the size. All 3 flowers are different size. Both the Daffodil Delight and Flighty Flamingo are using the large Daisy punch but different size. One has 8 petals and one 7. You can add more or less so you can have many size. The lovely Lipstick is using the medium punch.
For the brick wall I have a video at the end of today video that show tip on the 3-D folder if you didn’t already seen it.
In the picture above you can see the cone I poke hold in it with the pierce tool. OOOPS we do not have the pierce took but we have the Take Your Pick Tool that has the pierce attachment. All is show in the video.
How to stamp the coneflower with the daisy stamp
In the video I share how to stamp the partial daisy to have the coneflower. Then then color in the cone with Soft Suede stampin’ blends and using the jounaling pen to add the little dots. It is simple with a post it note. I cove half of the stamp with a post it note before inking, then ink, remove the post it note and stamp on your card stock. Voila! you have your coneflower.
