Hello Friends,
It’s the motion technique in action for today. I been cleaning my craft room and found so many technique book, stash of cards with different technique. I write a list of technique that I want to being back to life. Be on the lookout for older technique with current stamp set. This is so much fun, it feel all new to me because it been years since I done many of the technique that I will share in the coming months.Â
I have the video of today card at the bottom of this post or you can also find it on my You Tube channel.
Thank YOUÂ
Before going in detail with today card I have want to say a BIG thank YOU to all that supported me. I am super excited to say I reach the finish line to the Million Dollar in sales.Â
Thank YOU so much for believing in me and trusting me to give me your business. I know it is many choice out there and to know that you choose me to be your Stampin’Up! demo, I feel so bless. What a blessing to have such a big support.Â
Again THANK YOU a MILLION time.Â
Best tip for motion stampingÂ
One of the best tip that I can share about motion technique is to have your ink pad well inked before starting. Ink the stamp once and stamp 3 to 5 times without re-inking the stamp. If the image is facing right start stamping on the right and keep stamping on the left. This is the direction that I did for today. If the stamp image would face left then start stamping on the left and keep stamping to the right. This will give the faux illusion of the motion. Â
Background scenery
For the background I started by brayer the sky in balmy blue and the ground in crumb cake. Stamp the mountain using smokey slate ink and the trees using old olive ink. In the video I share many tips for the scenery. If we choose not to mask it is very important to have the trees and mountains above the biker.Â
Last step is to stamp the biker. I use basic gray ink. For best result the regular ink (water base ink) work best for this technique. StazOn dry to fast so it will not carry over the ink like the water base and the memento ink also I find it to dry to fast. .Â
MeasurementÂ
- Whisper White 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base, 4¾ x 3½
- Basic Gray 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 rectangle stitched, ½ x 1¼
