Watercolor Fish “Best Catch”

Hello Stampers, 
Today it’s all about how I color the fish-trout from Best Catch with watercolor. I love how it turn out. 
You know fishing is a hobby at our house. So when I saw this set I scream like a kid in the candy store ” I WANT IT NOW” so be on the lookout for many more cards using the Best Catch. 

I did a video but it is longer then my regular video due to watercolor is not a fast thing. Well to get a good coloring we need to let dry in between layer so warning the video is longer then normal. You can find the video on my You Tube Chanel or below in this post. 

In the video I share also how I slit the paper to insert the tail in. It look like he is jumping out of the water. All is show in the video. Also how I done the fly. 

Measurement 

• Cherry Cobbler 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ card base, 1¾ circle 
• Basic Black 5¼ x 4, 2″ circle 
• Coastal Cabana 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 emboss with the ruffle folder 
• Whisper White 5¼ x 4 inside, 1¼ circle 
• Watercolor paper scrap for the fish and fly 

With the touch of Cherry Cobbler this would make a perfect Valentine card. your’ re the best catch is perfect greeting. 

See the ring where the fish jump out. I use the aqua painter with little Balmy Blue ink and Voila you have the perfect ring. If you been at the lake and watch fish jump you know what I’m saying with the ring.

• Balmy Blue 5 x 3¾ emboss with the Ruffle folder
