Today I am sharing how to stamps and color on muslin bag. The Santa’s Bag on page 19 of the Holiday catalog.
This is simple. I used ink with aqua painter and part with markers. All show in the video.
In these bag I added a pouch of hot chocolate perfect for the winter. No just for Christmas but all winter long these bag are perfect to give out. The mail man would love a hot chocolate on a cold day and so on.
The video can be found on my You Tube Channel or below in this post.
Measurement for Tag
- Cherry Cobbler 2 x 2½
- Crumb Cake 1¾ x 2¼
The one above I added the a Snowflakes Wire element the perfect finishing touch.
One of the most important tip to color on muslin bag is to slide a piece of card stock in the bag. Why sliding a piece of 5½ x 3¾ cardstock in the bag before starting to color is to protect the back of the bag so the ink will not transfer. That is with markers and/or aqua painter place that piece of card stock and only remove when it is dry.
Another tip is when using markers be very gentle with the tips of the markers just touch the bag not need to press hard.
