Hello Friends

What a awesome combo and frame for today. I combine 4 set and they are: Peaceful Place, Heartland, Country Livin’ and Rooted in Nature. This is the same technique that I share last week. If you miss the post with the video CLICK HERE to view. I added the Country Livin’ so first you want to stamp the truck and mask the truck then the barn and the peaceful place. I use very little of the Rooted in Nature if you look on the right hand side of the barn you have a partial tree and also between the barn the the Peaceful place so I would say this one is very optional but great for filler. All is stamp with Black StazOn at the exception of the filler trees them are stamp with Old Olive. The watercolor is simple, I bet you thinking OH My Goodness well I didn’t fuss with shading just add a little ink with the aqua painter and VOILA!

Growing up on a farm this scream “Home Sweet Home”” plus I love the outdoor so the river is the perfect touch. Looking at this frame is so relax for me and bring back many memories. Also I think the frame with the old wood is perfect for this piece of art.

This is a 5 x 7 frame well the opening is, so my watercolor paper is 5 x 7. All supplies that I used for this frame are listed all the way at the bottom exception of the frame and if you ask me where I got that frame well it is way back when I lived in Florida in 1996 to 2000, it was a framing store going out of business and I stock up on frame, lets just say I went crazy I think these frame was $3 and I bought a box because at the time I was doing black and white picture and color on them like the Sweethearts and these frame was perfect and now they are perfect for my stamping art.

So my question to you is, did I inspire you to combine stamps and make a piece of art to frame? I think these would make awesome gift.

You have such good ideas on combining sets to create a “story”. I just bought the “Peaceful Place” stamp and need to find fast ways to color as I send 30 cards monthly to shut-ins. This stamp is ideal for that purpose other than the coloring aspect.
