Hello Stampers,
OH! Paper Leather…..I am so EXCITING to share this technique it is flipping AMAZING. You need to try it, to understand why I am so excited. This paper is regular cardstock and it will feel just like leather with this technique.
First let me give credit to Carol Varendal who share a video with this technique on one of the Stampin’Up! group that I belong to.
You will need some Glycerin for this technique. Where can you get that? At any pharmacy they have the Glycerin.
The recipe is about 1 teaspoon of Glycerin in the Stampin’Up! spritz bottle top it with water. You will see in the video how I mix it all.
I have a video for you that you can find at the bottom of this blog post or on my Youtube Channel.
Measurement
-Soft Suede 11 x 4¼ score at 5¼, 2 of 1¾ x 4¼
-Very Vanilla 2 of 3½ x 10, scrap for the punch out
I listed all supplies at the bottom except the Glycerin for easy shopping
Now in the video you will see how to make this cool Leather out of cardstock but this is a must try to see and feel how cool it is. OH! how fun this technique is and a WOW look and the feel of it is amazing. So stay tune for many more project using this leather paper.
