Hello Friends
Yes again with the Baby Wipe, Clear Block and the stamp set Southern Serenade. This was the thank you cards I sended last month to all my customer. Well after so many email with the same question “Can you tell me how you did the background” I knew it was a card well received. So here how I done this card.
Starting with a baby wipe fold in half or use 2 baby wipe, place on a plate or plastic container, add some ink top to bottom Soft Sky, So Saffron *leave some opening to add some Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz. You do NOT need to cover the entire sheet of baby wipe with ink, about the size of the E clear block.
Make sure your clear block is clean and tap on the inked baby wipe, place a piece Whisper White cardstock on a Stampin’ pierce mat and stamp with the clear block. Voila you have your Baby Wipe background. So simple and so fun.
I have a older video for this technique CLICK HERE if you wish to see it in action. In the video I used different color but same technique. This is the fastest technique that I know to add a variation of color for a detail stamp.
On the envelope I use the flower stamp set and ink the stamp on the baby wipe.
Measurement
– Whisper White 8½ x 5½ fold in half card base, 3 x 4, 1¼ circle
-Pink Pirouette 3¼ x 4¼
– Circle 1-3/8 some I did in Soft Sky or So Saffron or Pink Pirouette
See that stash yes it have to be simple when you make a big stash of them. To make this many I added ink about 4 to 5 time on my wipein the process also I didn’t wash the block in between so some color will bleed but that make it more interesting.
