A quick card for today. What to call this some call it NO LINE watercolor and some call it self watercolor so whatever it is, it is fun to do. Here how I done it.
Using marker color your stamp image/rubber, spritz your watercolor paper with water and stamp your image that you color with markers. For this technique I prefer a fine tip brush dipping in water instead of the aqua painter so I can control the water better. Now just blend you stamp image. This was my first one and I though it was not enough color on the flower so I added more with the markers well if you choose to add more LET DRY first I didn’t and it bleed, I should a know better, always let dry any type of water coloring before adding more ink.
The flower I use cherry cobbler and the stem garden green. After it was all dry I use the black marker to had the little dot in the center. Then for the back ground again make sure all is dry, I use the aqua painter with So saffron ink to apply a light background wash.
I love love these color together they are so striking
