OH! did you try the new embossing paste yet? It is amazing and so much fun. You will see lots of my creation using this paste easy add on for a background, a little accent and such.
Today video is just about the basic on how to use the paste.
I have a video for you that you can find at the bottom of my blog post today on my blog HERE. ***If you are getting my post by e mail some server will NOT include the video so make sure to visit my blog to get all detail or you can always find my video on my You Tube Channel.
This first card I did portion of the stencil just plain and partial I added some melon mambo re-ink plus some dazzling diamond then when the white was dry I sponge with Bermuda Bay ink with a sponge. The beauty of applying the paste into black card stock you can sponge many color after it dry and it will not show on the background. All explain in the video. Then to finish the card I stamp the rose from Birthday Blooms on shimmer white card stock, color with markers and cut out and adhere into the card. Also I use a cutout from Lovely Words framelits. Very simple but such a WOW factor.
Measurement
-Bermuda Bay 8½ x 5½ card base fold in half
-Basic Black 5¼ x 4
-Bermuda Bay for the Friend cut out
-Shimmery White for the flower from Birthday Blooms
Here just a few piece ready to be finish on cards.
This is one that I did in the video and to finish the card I just add the girl from Beautiful You and the top scallop is from the framelits Seasonal Layers so simple and I bet you can see the sparkle in the picture above this one I added lots of dazzling diamond into the paste. You could always add the dazzling after you apply the past and before it is dry. This was melon mambo re ink. Measurement -Melon Mambo 8½ x 5½ fold in half card base -Basic Black 5¼ x 4 and 4¼ x 1¼ for the scallop strip -Shimmery White for the girl from Beautiful You
More close up of the paste and remember you do NOT need to cover the entire piece of paper just a little accent is a nice add on on a card.
Well my friends this is it for the basic I will share another video soon on how you can make your one stencil / mask Stay tune and enjoy playing with the past I sure love it!
have a great day!
