Hello Stampers
Well today it is a quick post to share one of the best tip for clear mount stamp. Now where did I learn this I am not sure but I would think it was on pinterest. This work like a charm many ask me if chap stick work well I would think so but I had a beeswax in my desk and VOILA! I try it and I was shock. Yes place your sticker image in the back of your red rubber stamp and then apply a light layer of beeswax on your clear block and it will stay on the block. I did over 100’s of the little note card that you see in the picture above and NOT once that my stamp came off the block. Now how to clean your stamp and your block well I use hand sanitize to clean my block and Stampin’ Mist to clean my stamp.
I think that Burt’s Bees is my new BFF in the craft room. Who’s your BFF in your craft room?

GREAT TIP
YOur enthusiasm is contagious! I'm going to try this…I have been peeling off the label so the stamp would adhere to the block which after a few times makes the label curl so that wasn't a great idea. This is! Going to try it!
Thanks for the Burt Bees tip! I'll try it!
I've tried so many ways to keep those stamps from falling off the block. You say this works, I'm trying it! Thanks.
I love your posts and your creativity. I do want to add a word of caution, though. Be careful with petroleum based products like chapstick. They might damage your stamps eventually. The same is true with alcohol based products. I always rinse my stamps after I clean them if I use anything with alcohol in the ingredient list. I haven't checked the ingredients of Burt's Bees lip balm, but I know that company uses “clean” ingredients. Bee's wax should be a safe product to use.
I don't use alcohol on stamp but I do on acrylic block and my stamp after using the lip balm I was them with stamping mist
Just this last week I was trying to stamp images and then before I could even flip the stamp & block off fell the stamp. Finally started adhering the stamp to the block. I haven't been stamping for almost a year and was ready to switch back to the wood block stamps again. I can't wait to try this trick.
What a great idea, can't wait to try it!
Thank you for this fantastic tip. I loved it so much I shared it on my blog, linking to your post, of course. Thanks to you, I no longer dread having to stamp with my clear mount stamps.
So glade you try it many are afraid to give it a try and it work so great Have a great day
this realy works thank you so much
Also, rubbing alcohol cleans the blocks well also.
Thanks for the lip balm tip. It was very frustrating when the stamps
did not stay on the block.
Can you use it on actual clear stamps? Cause you are talking about red rubber stamps here.
I have been using repositional tape which works for awhile then has to be replaced. Thanks so much for the tip. I am certainly going to try this.
the point should be that every other companies stamps stick without having to use something to make them stick. You would think SU would be that smart also!
Does it have to be beeswax, or does any ‘ol lip balm do the trick?
Thank you so much for the great tips! You are the best!
Just found your tip on Pinterest and definitely will be doing it. Thanks!
I just saw this. Thank you very much and I will share with others!
