 OH! so gorgeous and even better in real live. Thanks to my friend Jackie for sharing a picture of her card and the minute I saw that picture I had to stop what I was doing and make one well one, two, three… OH! MY when I made them I was in love with them all. It look like a layer on top of wood I just can’t explain how pretty they are well that is if you love nature like I do 🙂 
So in my video you will see from start to finish. You can find the video at the bottom of my blog post today or on my You Tube channel. 
I try many combination but first here are the measurement 

Measurement 
-Base card 8½ x 5½ fold in half choice of Whisper White, Crumb Cake or Cherry Cobbler 
-Cherry Cobbler 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 *for a extra layer 
– 4 x 5¼ This is the piece you will stamp on choice of color card stock Crumb Cake, Tip Top Taupe and Soft Suede 
-2 x 1½ one in Cherry Cobbler and one in Whisper White this for the greeting it will be trim after you stamp your greeting for this small piece is better to start bigger and then trim. 

For the Hardwood stamp I try a few color I try the tone on tone so crumb cake card stock and used crumb cake ink and so on on the other color card stock and did some with Early Espresso ink so all depend if you want the wood to stand out more or keep it more soft. If you want the wood to stand out more stamp with Early Espresso and if you want to keep it soft use the same color ink then your card stock. 
**One important step is to use the embossing buddy after you stamp the hardwood background. In the video I will share many tips.
