Hello Stampers
Today is stamp on the go and at the same time a Tip of the Day. How to re-ink markers and ink pad. Please note that if you choose to re-ink markers you are doing it at your own risk be very gentle with the felt tip. I always say a new marker is the best but sometime only one marker is dry in your pack so it is work the try and if it is dry you have nothing to loos.
You will see how to re-ink markers and ink pad in my video that you can found on my You Tube Chanel or at the bottom of my blog today. Like I mention in the video I use my bone folder to spread the ink on my ink pad just like you would frost a cake I know many will say a plastic spoon, a credit card (be careful with a plastic card the edge can be sharp) and many other tools but I love my bone folder for this yes it will stain with dark color but I’m okay with the stain after you rinse it and whip it perfect to use on card stock. I love how smooth it spread and plus it is always at my finger tip in the craft room.

Now for today card it is super easy the work is done for you with this beautiful designer paper the Timeless Elegance I LOVE this paper I think in all the designer paper we did card in all the year I been with Stampin’Up! this is the one I use the most and YES I bought LOTS and lots of pack that is why you can find many ideas on this blog with this lovely paper. Super simple color the rose with your marker on this card I use the So Saffron and the card stock I use Daffodil Delight why not the same color ink and paper cause the marker on the vanilla and black tend to be darker. When you color with markers on this paper you have no work not shading NOTHING just a quick color and the pretty paper will do the work for you in the blending!
Measurement

Thanks for demonstrating how to re-ink markers. I knew you could re-ink them, but I don't remember seeing a demo on that. If you don't want to get ink on your fingers, how about using a paper towel or putting on one of those Latex Gloves. I believe you said to wash your fingers with baking soda…Another great tip of your's! Thanks!
Thanks so much for your re-inking tips. They are really useful, explained in an easy way and also easy to remember. (Although I'm still hoping for “neverending markers and ink pads”..lol..)
Alors, merci beaucoup encore une fois et à la prochaine
grosses bises
