Welcome to Texas, Frenchie!…. You need the bumper sticker now that says “I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could”! LOL!!…
Glad y'all made it safely with the wet weather we're experiencing now. We've been in a drought for many years, but this storm going on now is a doozey! Your new house is a real beauty, and am glad to see it looks like it's on top of a hill, cause you may be an island when all is said and done!!…. Suppose to get 10-15 inches in your area, and as you can imagine that will cause major flooding issues AND flash floods. Roads can turn into rivers within minutes. Seriously!… Hope y'all stay safe and don't lose power.
Love your TX star cards 🙂
Hi Frenchie! Glad you had a safe trip/move to Texas. Love your pictures…Shadow & your lovely new house! Hope you stay dry! Thanks for sharing!
Praise the Lord you folks made it to Texas! Love the house and can't wait for you to settle in! Praying for Texas during this Hurricane please stay safe!
Welcome to Texas! What a way to be greeted with the storms that are colliding in this area! When I moved to Houston from Missouri in February of 1980 I was so happy to be getting away from the cold and the snow and guess what….within a week of our arrival, it was snowing here too!!! Will never forget that.
Have followed your blog for a few years now and soon we will be almost neighbors as we are moving to Nacogdoches in a few weeks.
Have fun unpacking!
Welcome to TX. I have lived in Central TX, Plano which is N of Dallas, for over 20+ yrs. Yes, we have had a lot of rain the past couple days. Not had any rain since Jul. We need it but it seems to be feast or famine. Daisy says woof to Shadow! The new house is very nice looking and it has a storage shed. We recently had a Tuff Shed built in our back yard.

Happy you had a safe trip. Your new home looks beautiful. I know how excited you are. Stay safe during the storms. Being here in SC we understand what flooding is all about and that is a rough one headed your way.

Glad you made it to Texas safe, especially with all that rain and water. Your new home looks beautiful. I know you will be glad to get your craft room all set up.
Love your cards you shared today.
So happy you made it safe and sound! God protected you and now you can start another journey in your life!
Hi Frenchie,
So glad you made it and your all safe! That storm is a doozy according to all the weather reports, so it's a good thing you have a boat you might need it (jk)! Praying that you don't and the water will sink in the ground fast. At least your on a hill and a beautiful house! Good Luck and stay safe. MaryL.(NC)
Glad you made it to Texas safe and sound! Your new house is beautiful and I'm sure you will be very happy to have all your belongings in it by the end of next week. That rain looks intense – good thing you have a boat! LOL!
Glad you were towing your own boat! LOL Texas is famous for its flash floods. So glad you made it okay, looking forward to your posts from Texas!
Glad you made it all safely! Poor Shadow looks really tired, give him a big hug from his friend here in MO.
Happy you made it to your lovely new home. I'm a former Texan, but wound up in Washington state through marriage. I've been a follower for several years and just love your videos. God bless you in your new home.
Loved the star as it reminds me of my home state of Texas. I hope you love it there. My children went to summer camp near there. Wish I was moving back! I hope to hear you say YA'LL in your up coming videos!!!!!
Glad you made it there safe and sound. Now just stay that way, I know the weather is supposed to be really awful this weekend. Stay dry and safe. Can't wait to see the new crafting room.
So glad to hear you made it safe. I was thinking about you traveling in that storm and prayed for safe arrival. Shadow looked like he was nice and cozy not caring where you were taking him, as long as he was with YOU! Your new home is beautiful and I hope that soon you and your husband, along with Shadow, will be able to relax and enjoy it. Take Care, Wendy
