Hello Friends! It’s Tina here – back with another “Passport Pals” blog post with Frenchie! Today’s card is one that features a technique I first learned a couple of years back at the Stampin’ Up! convention.  It’s called the “Pennant Circle Flowers” technique and I have just LOVED making these flowers ever since I first saw them.
I have an older video (one of my first videos!) where I show you how to make these fun flowers which you can see HERE Please note, this video is from 2012 and some of the products that I used have since retired.  Also, in the video I use circle punches (which I also used for today’s card) but you can use our circle framelits (#130911) too.  You could even experiment and use the Starburst Framelits (#132967) as well – I bet they would look really pretty!  I chose the new 2014-2016 In Colors to use on today’s card because I wanted to use Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey – for some reason the month of August seems to be in shades of oranges and yellows to me.  Today is also my birthday and apparently yellows, golds and oranges are the colours of “Leos” so perhaps that is why I’m drawn to them!
