Hi Friends! Tina here, from The Serene Stamper, back with another project for mine and Frenchie’s “Passport Pals”!  Sometimes you start to create something that ends up being so much fun you can’t stop – you’re completely absorbed in your ‘creative muse’.  And you lose all track of time – you’re lost in a world of paper, stamps, ink, ribbon, glitter and all things pretty.  Does that ever happen to you? Well, that’s exactly what happened to me, when I started making this project.  I ended up just having the most fun making it – purely for the joy of it, nothing more….

I used a lot of different products and I must say, I can’t wait to give this little treat box to someone special.
To make the flower I used the new Flower Frenzy Die with Marina Mist Card Stock and Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Then I misted water on the flowers and crumpled them up a bit.  Once dry I sponged on some ink on the edges and used glue dots to stack them together.  The inside of the flower is a fun little trick I learned during convention earlier this month: simply scribble a blendabilities marker on a craft sheet then squeeze a dab of hot glue.  Peel off once dry and you have colored thingamajiggies for your projects! Cool, hey?  I then used the same marker and added some dots.  I just used my scissors to make and cut the banners.   The striped banner was stamped with stazon onto a window sheet and I coloured the backside using a blendabilities marker.
When you pull open the drawer there’s a gift inside (in this case it’s organic tea bags):

What do you think?  Can you tell I was in stampin’ Heaven making this? LOL  The inside flap is a bit blank at the moment, but that’s where I’ll write my message.

I made a video last winter that shows you how to make this box, which you can see HERE.  These boxes are really easy and fast to put together, which is ideal if you need to make a lot for a wedding or any other celebration.  How simple or elaborate you wish to decorate your treat box is completely up to you! Then the fun is deciding what treats to fill them with!
