Hello Friends
Happy Monday! and welcome to my Masculine Monday.
Today I have a video on how to make the reflection of the goose with package take. I did the shadow/refection before with a clear envelop or window sheet but many time the clear envelop or window sheet would slide and smear, with the tape it will not slide or smear but you need to be careful on how you will pull the tape. It is important to sponge your background first the ink will stop some of the stickiness of the tape. If you have a embossing buddy that will help a lot for the tape not to stick so much. Again the video can be found on my blog at www.frenchiestamps.com on 7-28-14. The color that I use for the sponge are pool party for the sky a little of Sahara Sand for the dirt and marina mist for the water. The goose I stamp with early espresso and stamp the goose again on watercolor paper with black stazOn so I could watercolor and not wash the goose then cut the one on watercolor paper and put it on top of the stamp goose on the card and this way it give him some dimension and cover the blue or green that you sponge 🙂 Well like always say, writing direction is not my strong suit so you will see it all in the video how to make the reflection with tape.
FYI I do have a class in the mail with this lovely set the Wetland you can view all my class in the mail HERE that are still available to order.

Great technique! Could you stamp on the unstickly side and do this same technique? Then you would not have to worry about the tape tearing your paper?
Love this idea. Can't wait to try it out. I don't have this goose set, but I'm sure I have something else that will work. I learn so much from your videos. TFS!
This is so neat. I'm still not very good at sponging but I want to try this with the goose set.
Love this technique and will be trying it very soon. Some great possibilities with this. Thanks!
