Hello friends
Today Stampin’101 is a great way for masking your image/stamp. What is masking? Masking is when you have a image or words but you only want part of it not the entire image or words. Like in a greeting it can say “Thank You for caring” and your just want the Thank You in the front of the card then you could mask the “for caring” then inside the card you can mask the “thank you” and just have for caring. So in my video on my blog at www.frenchiestamps.com you will see how simple it is to do with scotch tape. Plus I will share a little more what you could do with the tape and designer paper. Some great tip in this video. Stamp set that I use is Vivid Vases #133818 and the 2-1/2 circle punch #120906 and the lovely embossing it’s the Decorative Dots that you can get for FREE with qualified order for sale a bration. With every 50.00 before tax and shipping you get to choose a free product from sale a bration. When placing on order HERE when you view your shopping cart if will show on the bottom left hand side if you qualified for a free product and if so click where it say to click and it will show you all what is available to choose from for FREE.
Color of card stock are Crisp Cantaloup, Basic Gray and White. The designer series paper for the vases I use the one in sale a bration yes again you can get this for free with qualified order.
Using the 2-1/2 punch for the white circle and the opening fun way to show the stamp image in and out.

Hi Frenchie,
I've been stamping for years and never knew this great tip for masking images with Scotch tape! Thanks for the video!
Peace, Love and Joy,
Joyce
I wondered how you were going to get the tape off without ruining the paper. Very clever!
I have been masking things on stamped projects for years and have never thought of trying scotch tape and to use it like this. Very cool, I love that the vase has that shiny look. Thanks!
I absolutely LOVE your videos! They are so informative and easy to understand. Thank you so much for sharing your craft!
Great video! FYI, I also put the tape over the image that I want to mask BEFORE I ink it up. Then I remove the tape and stamp. Same idea but you don't have to worry about the tape slipping when you tape over wet ink. Have a great day!
