Hello Friends!  Tina here again, for another guest post for “Passport Pals” on Frenchie’s blog.  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!  If you’re like me, you’re starting to plan your thank you cards for all those sweet gifts you receive.  Today’s project is a thank you card that I made using the Hearts Collection Framelits (#125599) and some sneak peek products from the Occasions catalog that begins January 3rd.

I cut the card to measure 6 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ with Crumb Cake card stock and layered on Real Red and a piece of Designer Series Paper from “Sweater Weather” (#132184).  This Designer Series Paper is from the Holiday Catalog, which ends today – so if there’s anything you love in this catalog you need to get it while you still can!

The Gold Vellum on the hearts is one of my favorite new products – it can be used in so many ways.  I just used glue dots behind the gold so that you can’t see the adhesive coming through.  The Gold Bakers Twine and Gold Sequin Trim are also new items and I love how they just add the perfect finishing touch.  I stamped the ‘Thank You’ sentiment from the “Four You” stamp set (#130535) with Versamark (#102283) and embossed with black embossing powder (#109133).  I used the stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049) to get it centered just right – what a fabulous tool!  I also used it for the inside of the card, with the “From the Heart” stamp set (#132007).  I only wanted the ‘from the bottom of my heart’ sentiment so I used the Basic Black Marker and omitted the rest:

Frenchie has a great “Passport Pals” project on my blog too, which you can see HERE.
