Good day my blog Friends!
Tomorrow is the first day of summer and I wanted to do a summer card so would involve some bight colors ans men I have to admit that I have a tough time with bright color, so I turn in to Stamping 411 for the sketch and this is what I came up with. You see the top one the butterflies are in the green but for me it was not dark enough so I re-done them with chocolate chip and color them in pear pizzaz and baja breeze and I like them much better. Card stock that I use are: White, Pear 1azzaz, Baja Breeze and vellum. I stamp the butterflies from Strength and Hope (each stamp set of Strength and Hope the Stampin’Up! sell they will give 2.00 to the Brest Cancer Recherche Foundation) on the vellum and then color the back of the vellum card stock with marker. The DSP is the Paisley Petal and will be available for order on July first.
Well that wrap it up for this Monday, have a great week!
I agree I like the 2nd one best. I have a hard time using bright colors too. Beautiful card!
I love the 2nd one too! The colors are perfect for that dsp. Beautiful!!
The second one is my favorite, too…more vibrant! Thanks for playing along with the Stamping 411 sketch!
Oh the second one is just perfect!
Definitely like the 2nd one the best as well — love the idea of using the vellum — just beautiful! Thanks so much for being part of the Stamping 411 Challenge this week! Blessings, Gretchen
I'm another fan of the 2nd one. The stained glass technique looks lovely with those butterflies!
