How to Change Colors Of The Embellishment Dots

Do you need embellishments in many colors but can’t find the one you need? No worries. Here is an easy way to Change the Colors of the Pecan Pie and Clear Ribboned Adhesives-Backed Dots. It is so simple: if you have the color of Stampin’ Blends, you can color the dots in all the colors of blends you need.

The cards below showcase the embellishment dots in the In-Color 2023-25. Not that these colors are leaving us in 2 months, so all while supplies last. Some years, we sell out of the colors before the dots, and some years, we have them till the end of April… It is a gamble, so if some of these colors are your favorite, now is the time to stock up.

I stamped the Stippled Rose on Basic Beige card stock in one of the in-colors and colored the dots using Stampin’Blends in the same colors.

Color Choice Coastal Cabana

I did many Stipple Roses on the Coastal Cabana, and when I was ready to color the dots, I realized that we don’t have the Stampin’ Blends in Coastal Caban, but the Summer Splash was a great match. If you don’t have the exact color to coordinate with your card, try different colors of the Stampin’ Blends but in the same tone.

Here is a close-up of the dot’s color with Summer Splash by the Coastal Cabana card stock. It is a great match.

In Pink Tones

Now for these two pink cards: Pretty in Pink and Bubble Bath. These pinks are light tones. Coloring with the matching blends doesn’t stand out; it is too light. So, in this case, choose a darker pink color. For instance, I used Flirty Flamingo for the Pretty in Pink and Bubble Bath.
