For today I share “How to add the Gold Hoops Embellishments on to a greeting card.” This been a popular question in my email these past weeks and I thought I have a video for that….. Well, silly me the video been shot months ago but never been posted. So today I am sharing it.

Measurements

Gray Granite 11 x 4¼ score at 5½, scrap for the little fern
Pretty Peacock 5¼ x 4
In Good Taste Designer Paper 5 x 3¾
Very Vanilla 5¼ x 4 inside, scrap for the fern and flower.

Best tips to adhere the Gold Hoops to a card

I try a few things to adhere the hoops to a card and the best is glue dots. Just place the glue dot to the back of the hoops where you know you’ll add an element on top. The element at the top will cover the glue dots.
If you card designer you wish not to have elements on the top of the hoops you can use liquid glue but note it will take a while to dry and you must lay flat till it is dry, if not the hoop is heavy and it will slide.

Can you mail cards with hoops on?

You bet you can mail them. My best advice is to place a piece of cardstock on top of the card and use the postage stamp None Machinable. The none machinable postage stamp is 20 cents more than the first-class postage stamp. I have a post all about tips to mail cards, click here if you want to have greats tip about mailing cards.

To be honest, when I saw these I thought what the heck I gonna use them for? Well, now that I sean many cards and I use them myself I love the look and how it looks so rich.
