So often, we try to add more and more to a card and take away from the beauty. In this case, today, I say simple and clean make this card very elegant.
How to Create a Clean & Simple Card
I share step by step to create a clean and simple card with very few products. I am using only one stamp set, one embossing folder, one color ink pad, a punch, and two types of paper.
Lean & Simple Showcase
The embossing can be done on a layering piece of card stock or right on the card front. Both look great. I go back and forth on the I prefer with layer or not. So what is your preference with a layer or not?
The brushstroke specialty paper is very light, so I punch out three layers simultaneously. It is much easier to punch a few-layer then a single layer. I have great tips in the video to punch the specialty paper.
For the element in the center of the flowers, some I use the Pastel Pearl, and some are the Opal Round. Bother are a great fit with the paper.
Once again, pictures are no justice to showcase the beauty of the paper. The Brushstroke Paper as a pearl effect and the brushstroke Oh! So pretty.
Measurements
- Basic White 8 ½ x 5 ½ score at 4 ¼ card base.
- Layer Optional Basic White 4 x 5 ¼
- Brushstroke for the flower strips of 1 ½ and leaves strips of ½
