My share for today is a fun fold Pinwheel card. These would be great for kids of all ages. I say all ages cause many adults would be thrilled to get these punch pinwheel cards. 

I have the Pacific Point and Granny Apple Green for the boys, and for the girls, it is Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape. We can send the blue to girls and melon to boys, but I will refer to blue for boys and melon for girls. 

The greeting is Happy Birthday, although I can see congrats, thinking of you and so much. We never have to wait for a special occasion to send a card. Cards are one of the best things to send to brighten someone’s day. 

I share all detail in this video from start to finish to make the fun fold pinwheel card. If you need the measurement, they are listed below. 
As I mention in the video, I don’t recommend sending these cards by mail in an envelope. The pinwheel would get smashed. Hand delivers or send in a little box would be the best for these pinwheel cards.

The pinwheel is part of the card base. The centerpiece is an add-on, so it is a place to write a note and not interfere with the view of the front of the card.  

The centerpiece on this boy one I embossed with the Tasteful Textile. I love the texture, and I feel that the emboss piece makes the pinwheel stand out better. 

Due to the embossed card stock, I added the circle for the greeting. You can stamp on embossed card stock, but I added the circle to stand out better. 

Inside we have a place to write a memo, and with that extra add-on now, the writing will not show in the front of the card. 

Girly Pinwheel 

It is all the same for the girl, then the boy exception of the centerpiece is NOT embossed. I did this card first; then I thought, hmmm. I bet the centerpiece would look better emboss. I think embossing sure makes the pinwheel stand out better. 

These cards were so much fun to make. If you like fun fold cards and 3-D, I bet this fun fold card design is one that you’ll want to give a try.

Measurements 

• Basic White 8½ x 4¼ score at 4¼ card base, 1½ corcle 
• Color card stock 4 x 4½ score at ½, 1¾ circle  
• Designer Paper 2 of 4 x 4 cut diagonal and center of triangle all shown in the video (in different pattern or color),  ½ and ¾ circle
