Today I will share how to ink and stamp with a spectrum pad. Note that both stamp sets and the spectrum are while supplies last.
A few years ago we had the spectrum pad with already ink but now they come un-ink so you can have any combo that you wish for. I shoot the video back in February and was planing to share with the customer appreciation because it was using the spectrum pad but it got lost in the queue. Here I am almost 2 months later. Like I say better late then never.
The how to video can be found at the bottom of this post or on my You Tube channel. Many of the tips that I share in the video was tips that Holly share at one of our team meeting.
How to choose the colors
Holly share with use how she decide witch color she will ink her pads. It is 5 little ink pad in one spectrum pad. If you use markers and scribble on scrap paper you can see the combo before inking your pad. So this way you can tell if you like it or not before you ink the pads. after you decide on a great combo then ink the little pad with the refiles. All show in the video. Such a smart way to try a combo.
Two color combo
This combo would be great for winter combination. If you prefer all in the same tone switch the Gorgeous Grapes with night of Navy and Highland Heather with Balmy Blue. The colors are listed just the way I ink my pad.
This card the flowers are stamped with the spectrum pad and the greeting with Bermuda Bay ink pad.
This combo would be amazing for fall. Even with the pink in this combo I think it say Fall. Looking at this combo it I think of crisp air in the fall.
Now this card is ALL stamp with the spectrum pad even the inside.
How to label the ink pad
In the video I share how to label the ink pad. Very important to label the pad so when in need of more ink you know the color that you use. So many color look alike this way you know for sure.
