Glade you join us for this month blog hop with the global team for the Stamping technique 101. This month it is all about faux frame.
Yes it is a simple technique but it add such a great look to a card. In the pass I use a piece of card stock to trace the frame but I try it with a window sheet OH! my goodness why I didn’t think of this before it make this frame so simple and easy no more guessing where to put your marker down, you can see where you need to have the lines. You can have any size frame all depend on your card and image so for today here are the measurement
-Whisper White 8½ x 5½ score at 4¼ fold in half
-Island Indigo 5¼ x 4
-Whisper White 5-1/8 x 3-7/8
-Window sheet 4¼ x 3 *this is the piece that I use to trace my faux frame
I stamp the Hello in Pool Party and Island Indigo *I try both way You will see one of the card have a dark shading and one the light shading. The detail dragonfly is stamp in Island Indigo and the bold image in Pool Party and a little of pear pizzazz. In the video you will see how I done this card from start to finish and I have all the supplies list at the bottom.
