Well I think many of you like the marathon video this week. Thank YOU all for the lovely comment and e mail Yes I love to share and love to create.
Today card was inspired by Donna a good friend/team member. It is a long story behind this card but the short story is this card was design at lunch. Donna took me out for lunch for my birthday and had some card stock with her and wanted to know how to do a pop up so here I was showing her how to at the restaurant without paper cutter but she done a great job and wanted to make that video since I got her card last year and Voila today is the day.
This is very simple to make any pop up card, you can use this design for many other pop up card, you will see in the video on my blog or my You Tube Channel trust me it is simple.
I listed all supplies at the bottom and here are the measurement
-Card base Lost Lagoon 8½ x 5½ fold in half
-insert for the pop up 3 by 5½ score at ½, 1½ and 2½
-shimmer white for the front strip 1¾ and inside strip 1¼ x 5½
-for the book 1½ by 4½ score at ¾ and cut at 1½ and 3 this will give you 3 book *how to cut them to make them look like book, all shown in the video
-for each snowman you will need 1’circle and 2 circle 1¼ so for this this card 3 of the 1″ and 6 of the 1¼ all done with shimmer white card stock
-the nose is tangerine tango free hand cut again all show in the video
See the difference between these 2 the top one I place the snowman on each side higher and I think this look much better.
Front of the card Yes I still use the “OLD” lovely as a tree still one of my favorite the oldest in the catalog but so classic.
