Hello Friends
WOW what a amazing week I had with the family camping. I sure count my blessing each time we are all together. With both kids working and in college now well both will start Monday Nika is in her 4th year of pre vet and Mick is starting is first year
for Diesel mechanic it is getting harder and harder to get all the time off together at the same time so this week was amazing to be all together, the scenery was beautiful in State Park of Guernsey WY and the weather was perfect well HOT, we reach 100’s twice, only one little shower one night so to sum it all up it was a amazing family camping trip.
We just got back home mid day yesterday and we hit full speed at everything that was waiting for us. We finish packing Nika room of what is coming with us in TX, started the laundry, respond to all e mail so if you e mail me and didn’t get an answer please send again. The paper share I will send invoice tomorrow, THANKS to all who send their request.
Thank YOU all for your patience and I’m sure you understand how important family time is so a little delay should be okay.
Many ask me how I could go on a family camping trip with the move and all is going on, well my answer to that is the move will happen that I’m ready or not so I say Enjoy today tomorrow is not a promise and that is exactly what we did. I know we’ll have to work a little faster but I love to be busy so all is good. Plus we have a moving company to pk and move most of the stuff 🙂 Yes I’m spoil a little to have a company move us.
Now here a few picture to share with you all of the family camping annual trip.
Top picture was skying at sunset GORGEOUS !
Second picture fishing by the pretty canyon no luck fishing but with this view it was all good.
A little hiking, playing in water lots and boating
We fly the kit in the back of the boat that was interesting, some deer in our hick, the moon rising on the water and not to forget some S’more.
Kids playing with frogs and lots of them…. Looking at this picture of the kids with long pants I have no clue when that was cause everyday it was HOT I bet that is the night that we got a little shower and the mosquitoes was terrible.
Great fun pictures, Frenchie! Really enjoyed them! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing photos of your vacation. What a beautiful spot you were in! We seemed to get a late start this summer so it's hard to believe the students are all heading back to school already. I hope the rest of your weekend is fantastic!
So glad you were able to have some family time before your big move! I see Shadow was able to soak up some sun and enjoy also! Thanks for sharing, Wendy
That is certainly a picuresque place. How refreshing to get away from TV, and all the distractions we have, setting aside time to bond and be with each other. You are wise to make family a priority…and Shadow was able to enjoy some bonding, too! Good, good, good. You are right…these moments will become a rarity as children find careers, establish families and scatter. Carpe Diem!
Great family memories made, glad to see Shadow was a part of it too!
Great pictures thanks for sharing. I am 78 years old and a retired SU Demonstrator. I still make cards. I really enjoy your posts. Thanks again.Carol from Ozark AR.
