Top picture is before it goes in the oven
in a 9×13 pan
Cube 12 to 14 slice off bread (old bread is great for this as long that it’s not green ha!)
Sprinkle with cinnamon (i use about 2 table spoon)
1 cup of raisin (I simmer my raisin in 1/2 cup of water till water is all evaporated) pour on top of bread. Use more if you like raisin like me I use 1-1/2
Mix all next ingredient together
9 eggs (yes nine)
2-1/2 cup of sugar
1 qt of half and half
2 t.spoon of vanilla
Pour on top on the bread
Cook at 350 for 40 minutes

My Hubby loves Bread Pudding. The best we ever had was in a restaurant, McGuire's Irish Pub, in Pensacola FL. I've made a Ukranian bread recipe that uses several eggs also.

Hi Frenchie love your blog! Can you tell me what is half and half? Is it milk? I'm in Australia and no idea what it is, but would like to make your recipe! Thanks for sharing your great stamping.
