Hello Friends
More of the Sunburst technique today. (Video on this technique was posted on my blog yesterday www.frenchiestamps.com) Today I use the Epic This and That DSP #130814. The flower in the center is from Flower Shop on page 94. I been playing with this set quit a bit lately and tomorrow I will announce the class in the mail for July and it is with this set. For the Sunburst today I did all around a 4×4 square so I cut my stip at 1-1/4 by 4 and work great and still assemble just like I show in the video. FYI the last srtip that I glue overlap a little but still work great. The Thinking of You for the Greeting is from the set Walk in the Wild page 74. Color of card stock are White, Calypso Coral. Again the DSP share is perfect to make these card in many design All info for the share can be found by CLICKING HERE.
Well my firends this is it for my share but if you want to read what is going on in Cheyenne at this time of the year scroll down but if you don;t like bug DO NOT SCROLL down 🙂
Have a great day!
Okay this is my place yesterday. I been in Cheyenne for 10 year and this is the worst of all time for the “Moth” season. (some call them “Miller”) They are the grossest kind of butterfly that P–P all over the window and house. I never in 10 year seen so many even the 10 years combine together. I need to get out of town…. at night is even worst. Top picture was at sunset that is just the begging of the night they cover everything….. So now if I don’t report tomorrow you know what happen to me the “Moths” did eat me alive HAHA We have a bird feeder in the back yard and Brett need to fill it everyday but now it’s been about 4 days and it still 3/4 full the birds are so full with all the “Moths” that they don’t even touch the feeder so wish me luck that I survive this season of “Moth” If you know of any good spray to kill them let me know so far nothing work…. we spray the year with all kind of bug spray and still no luck. We try soapy water with light like it say on the web but with that many nothing is working …… Somebody RESCUE me 🙂
This picture was Brett going to work in the shed well it was a dangerous walk from the house to the shed I step outside to take picture and dang it was a good thing I wear glasses HA! let me tell you that I didn’t say a word I kept my mouth shut 🙂 First time for everything ha!
Now to finish on a better note here a card that one of team member Lee W. send me to show me her take of the Sunburst technique. Love it with the Modern Medley DSP #126926. The picture is not the best it was send in a text message but still have the clue how pretty it is. Thanks Lee for sharing with me 🙂
Have a great day you all! Don;t forget to come back tomorrow to see the class in the mail for July 🙂

Lovely card. Nice DP. Wow, what a bad moth season you get. I've never heard of anything like that before. Yuck!
You crack me up, France. Come to Virginia…no moths like that here! Love your blog and videos!
Ugh! I really don't like moths. I hope they leave your home soon but DON'T come south to Colorado! I haven't found anything that kills them other than my fly swatter. Then my dog thinks she's getting a big treat and eats them. So gross.
Better just stay in your stamping room!
I really like this technique and love your new card and the one sent to you. Talk about ewww, when I lived in North Bay, On we had Shad flies. They stunk and when you stepped on them they sounded like Rice Crispies, snap, crackle and pop!
Ter 😉
